Metech Snapshot
Providing technological waste solutions for the information age, Metech International recycles precious and base metals, plastics, and glass from electronics like computers, telecom equipment, and medical electronics. The company, which is also called Metech Recycling, operates eight recycling plants throughout the US. In the latter half of the decade the company went through various reorganizations and owners. First MTI Corporation acquired Metech in 2005, and then Centillion Environment & Recycling of Singapore bought it two years later. In 2009 Centillion combined Metech International with another of its subsidiaries, Guaranteed Recycling Xperts, forming the current Metech.
