Uni-Select USA is its name and auto parts is its game. The company is one of the US's largest distributors of automotive aftermarket products for cars, trucks, RVs, and farm vehicles. It serves independent auto parts stores, service stations and garages, auto dealers, and fleet owners and carries some 200 product lines from 100 manufacturers. Uni-Select owns and operates about 30 distribution centers and 160 corporate stores. Customers and vendors have access to Uni-Select's inventory through its Web site, where about 60% of orders are processed. The company, then called Middle Atlantic Warehouse Distributor or MAWDI, was acquired in 1959 by Canada's Uni-Select from the founding Buzzard family.
