      Description Miller Electric Manufacturing LLC makes arc welding and cutting equipment under the Miller brand. Its products include MIG (metal inert gas) welders, TIG (tungsten inert gas) welders, stick welders, engine-driven welders, plasma cutters, generators, wire feeders, and helmets. Miller equipment is sold through more than 2,600 distributors in 100 countries. Miller Electric Manufacturing LLC was founded in 1929 by Niels Miller, who wanted to make a smaller and more affordable arc welder for use in rural Wisconsin. The company, which has been owned by Illinois Tool Works since 1993, is not affiliated with Miller Electric Construction.
