Mini-Systems, Inc. (MSI) manufactures thin-film and thick-film chip resistors and capacitors for marine, military, aerospace, communications, cryogenics, and implantable medical device applications. The company also produces multichip modules. Its Electronic Package division turns out custom hybrid microelectronic packages, including alumina/glass sidewall packaging, an alternative to plastic packages. Customers include Northrop Grumman. Mini-Systems was established in 1968 by Glen Robertson, the company's president. The company is owned by its officers and outside investors.
