Description MORC is a "Team First" human services agency that coordinates long-term supports for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities and the elderly in Southeast Michigan.
Michigan's disabled citizens have more than a friend in MORC. The Macomb-Oakland Regional Center (MORC) advocates for adults and children with developmental, physical, or psychiatric disabilities, hoping to improve the lives of its clients. In addition to finding homes and jobs and coordinating recreational activities for the disabled, the not-for-profit organization helps connect customers with support services including psychology, nursing, and medical care. It also holds community education seminars, and it provides home health visitation and rehabilitation therapy services through its MORC Home Care and MORC Rehab divisions. Founded in 1972, MORC serves over 4,000 clients in the state.
