Description One Equity Partners (OEP) prefers to share its investment dollars with more than one industry. The private equity firm invests in a variety of companies in the health care, chemicals, technology, travel, and manufacturing industries. OEP, which manages some $8 billion of investments and commitments for JPMorgan Chase, targets companies in North America, Europe, and Asia. It typically spends between $50 million to $200 million per investment. OEP often serves as the lead investor in management-led buyouts and divestitures. The firm was founded in 2001 by managing partner Dick Cashin. It has offices located in Frankfurt, Hong Kong, New York, Chicago, and Menlo Park, California.
