OptimumBank Holdings is the holding company for OptimumBank, which operates three branches in the communities of Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, and Deerfield Beach in South Florida. The bank is mainly a real estate lender, with commercial mortgages representing the largest portion of its loan portfolio, followed by residential mortgages, land and construction loans, and multifamily residential mortgages. It also offers other standard services such as checking and savings accounts, CDs, credit cards, and personal loans. OptimumBank was founded in 2000 by chairman Albert Finch and president Richard Browdy. As a group, executive officers and directors of OptimumBank Holdings own more than 40% of the company.
