Description Bowling fans might say this company scores a perfect 300. The Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) oversees the top ranks of the bowling world with 4,300 members in more than a dozen countries. It organizes more than 20 annual professional bowling events, including four championships: the PBA World Championship, PBA Tournament of Champions, United States Bowling Congress, and the US Open. The PBA also oversees marketing and promotion for professional bowling and its top athletes, and controls broadcasting rights to the matches. The association was formed by 33 charter member organizations in 1958. A group led by chairman Chris Peters and Real Networks founder Rob Glaser has owned the PBA since 2000.
