Description PPE uses the leaves from one tree in order to build another; the company is Europe's largest producer of leaflet dispensers (trees). PPE also designs, makes, and sells point of-purchase merchandising products such as shelf-mounted brochure dispensers, in-store fixtures, and custom-built display systems. It has manufacturing operations in the UK and sells to retailers worldwide. In 2000 it acquired its biggest rival, Point of Sale Centre, and has since bought Interbin Storage and Display and Dauman Displays International. PPE was founded in 1969 by Ted Parker, who left the business to his twin sons, Neil and Nigel Parker. In 2009 the Parkers sold PPE to Sweden's HL Display, but they continue to manage the firm.
