Polysius is always ready to cement a deal. A subsidiary of German industrial conglomerate ThyssenKrupp since 1999, the company designs industrial plants and makes machinery and equipment for the cement and raw materials industries (including crushed stone and coal). Plant construction services include consulting, process-engineering, and research and development. Raw materials-processing activities such as grinding, pyroprocessing, and materials handling utilize Polysius' engineered products. Polysius also provides process automation systems, spare parts, and after-sales service for existing plants. The company operates mainly in Western Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia.
