Preferred Network Access provides health care cost containment services throughout Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The preferred provider organization (PPO) offers its services in areas including its own PPO network (encompassing in-network hospitals, providers, and outpatient facilities), the negotiation of non-network hospital and provider claims, a renal care program, disability and workers compensation management programs, and occupational health programs. The company's own network consists of more than 100 hospitals, roughly 34,000 physicians, and about 250 ancillary providers. Preferred Network Access was established in 1995.
