It carries heavy and light equipment, awnings, signage, seating and other décor items; the company primarily serves more than 20,000 quick-service restaurants and multi-unit operators in more than 40 countries. In addition to distribution, PrimeSource offers equipment installation and project management services. The company was formed by beverage giant PepsiCo in 1986 as PepsiCo Food Systems and was spun off as PrimeSource in 2000. Chairman Fritzi Woods has controlled the minority-owned business since 2003.
