Priority Health Managed Benefits' chief concern is its members' wellbeing. A subsidiary of Spectrum Health, the health insurance provider serves some 600,000 members throughout the state of Michigan. The company offers managed care plans to about 11,000 employer groups; it also provides individual coverage. It contracts with a network of some 100 acute care hospitals and more than 12,000 health care providers, including primary care doctors and specialists. Health plan offerings include HMO, POS, PPO, Medicaid, and Medicare plans. Priority Health also offers health savings accounts (HSAs) and provides administrative services for companies with self-funded plans.
