Pro-Mark Corporation is an expert at hitting the drum on the head. The company makes, designs, and sells drumsticks, mallets, and percussion accessories, such as drum set mats and tuning keys. Made from Japanese Shira Kashi white oak and American hickory and maple, the drums sticks are sold in most music retail stores and exported to more than 100 countries. Pro-Mark also makes accessories for marching bands, drum lines, and orchestras. The company makes its products at a factory in Houston, Texas. Pro-Mark was founded by Herb Brochstein in 1957.
