Its products include non-invasive radiosurgical systems, stereotactic surgery systems which facilitate the placement of instruments on the brain during neurosurgery, aspirators used in ultrasonic surgical procedures, and extracranial systems to hold patients in place during surgery. Formerly a division of Covidien, Integra Radionics was acquired by Integra LifeSciences Holdings in 2006. The wholly-owned subsidiary fortifies Integra's radiosurgery/radiotherapy and image-guided surgery devices business.
