Resilux Snapshot
Resilux has found purpose not in the bottom of a bottle but in the entire thing. The company produces and sells PET (polyethylene teraphthalate) bottles and preforms (which can be blown into a variety of shapes). Resilux's plastic products are used in the packaging of soft drinks, water, juices, alcoholic drinks, and other beverages, as well as edible oils, foods, cosmetics, medicines, and detergents. Resilux also offers custom bottle-blowing services for clients, allowing them to turn preforms into bottles in-house, next door, or nearby. Resilux was founded in 1992 as a family business, and despite its growth the De Cuyper Family still owns 52% of the company (49% through TRIDEC, a Dutch Foundation).
