Restel business is based on the basic human needs of food and shelter. The company, which is Finland's largest hotel and restaurant owner, operates about 40 hotels and 240 restaurants throughout the country. Restel's hotels include such global brands as Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Ramada; it also runs smaller domestic hotels like Cumulus and Rantaspi. The company's restaurant, bar, and nightclub chains include Hemingway's, Lyhty, Nite Train, Onnen Päivät, and Parnell's Irish Bar. Restel is a subsidiary of retail and hospitality group Cooperative Tradeka Corporation.
