Description SentryWorld was developed by Sentry Insurance in 1982 as a gathering place for the Stevens Point community. The centerpiece of the 200-acre property is a championship golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. He oversaw a major renovation in 2013 led by architects Bruce Charlton and Jay Blasi. The public course was renovated again in 2020–2021 in advance of hosting the 2023 U.S. Senior Open. Course improvements inspired a renewed focus on making each and every round outstanding, relaxing, and truly one-of-a-kind. In addition to world-class golf, the SentryWorld complex features upscale lodging at The Inn; dining at PJ’s, Muse, and the Library Café; a sports and recreation center for indoor tennis, volleyball, and other games; plus, wedding and event facilities. You can find out more about each of these attractions below.
