What do you call a company that has its hands in technical services, consulting, inspection, and aerospace? You call it Stork. The firm operates more than 50 companies across several divisions: Technical Services (operating mostly through its Fokker Elmo and Fokker Services units) consults and supports technical installations in industrial and utilities markets, and Aerospace makes components and systems for aviation. Striving to focus on its aerospace and technical services enterprises, the company in 2008 sold its Food Systems division, which produced poultry processing and fast food production equipment. Stork was founded by Charles Theodoor Stork in 1868; it was taken private in early 2008.
