Sun Motor International hopes to motor into a more prosperous future. The company's major operating subsidiary, Sun Motor Technology Group, designs, makes, and markets micro-motors for a wide range of applications in the automobile components, business equipment, home appliances, multimedia, personal care, and power tool industries. Its customers include a number of European and US-based multinational corporations. Sun Motor gets about two-thirds of its sales from Asian customers. Founder, chairman, and CEO Simon Shi owns nearly 73% of the company.
