Description SyberJet Aircraft (formerly Emivest Aerospace) builds the SJ30 Twin Jet, a six-passenger, two-engine, light business jet with a top speed of some 560 mph, an altitude of 49,000 feet, and a range of about 2,500 nautical miles. Aircraft components are made in Utah, while assembly takes place in San Antonio. The company was founded in 1999 by Swearingen Aircraft of San Antonio and Sino Aerospace Investment of Taiwan. The company filed for Chapter 11 in late 2010 and was bought out of bankruptcy in spring 2011 by holding company MT, LC, a Utah-based limited liability corporation (created to acquire the assets) for $3.5 million.
