TAC Limited wants to ensure that its customers' buildings are comfortable, safe, secure, and energy-efficient. It's not an altruistic endeavor, however, as TAC makes money off its automated building systems for security management (access control, intruder alarms, and CCTV), HVAC control, lighting control, fire safety, and energy management. The company, which maintains branches in more than 80 countries (including 20 branches in the US), also provides building system support, maintenance, and consulting services. The company has been growing through acquisitions of smaller firms offering complementary services to its own.
