Teletouch Communications has its own idea of what it means to "reach out and touch someone." Through its Progressive Concepts, Inc. (PCI) subsidiary, the company resells mobile voice and data services provided by AT&T Mobility to customers in Texas; it has nearly 80,000 consumer and commercial subscribers on its books. PCI also distributes cell phones, two-way radios, accessories, and car audio and security products through its nearly 20 Hawk Electronics retail locations. Suppliers include Kenwood and and Vertex. The bulk of its stores are located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but it also has two locations in San Antonio. Chairman Robert McMurrey owns a controlling stake in the company.
