Originally formed as Time Inc.'s book division, Time Life has grown to become one of the world's largest direct marketers of music and DVDs. While the company may be best known for its compilations marketed through television infomercials, Time Life is also reaching consumers via its Web site, where it sells music and DVDs that aren't seen on TV. In addition to these direct-marketing channels, the company's products are also available at major retail outlets in the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Time Inc. sold Time Life to Direct Holdings Global in 2004.
