Transcender helps information technology professionals move above and beyond their current stations. The company develops test preparation software for IT certification programs, including Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Novell, and Oracle certifications. Offering about 65 IT certification tests, Transcender provides exam simulations, quiz software, and training videos. Founded in 1992, Transcender is a subsidiary of educational services provider Kaplan, which bought the company early in 2004 to boost its Kaplan IT self-test software business.
