Trendsetter Electronics doesn't stock iPods or other trendy electronic gadgets. The company distributes electronic components, such as capacitors, connectors, delay lines, diodes, oscillators, relays, sensors, switches, thermistors, and terminal blocks. Manufacturers represented on its line card include Gowanda Electronics, Honda Connectors, Keltron, and Vishay Intertechnology. Trendsetter was established in 1995 by Carol Williams, a veteran of the components distribution business. Williams, the company's president, is the majority owner of Trendsetter. Employees have a small equity stake in the company.
