Vanguard Films Snapshot
Vanguard Films is an independent motion picture production company. Run by Shrek producer John Williams, Vanguard has worked with major studios to co-produce films such as Seven Years in Tibet and The Tuxedo. These days the company operates mostly through its animation unit, Vanguard Animation, which co-produced Disney's 2005 picture Valiant and 2007's Happily N'Ever After. Vanguard Films was founded in 1985.
