S.A. Fabrica de Produtos Alimenticios Vigor gives a whole new meaning to the term "cash cow." Vigor makes dairy products, including milk, cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, butter, margarine, and yogurt. Its São Caetano factory makes mayonnaise, vegetable fat and oils, and instant noodles. Vigor makes nearly 300 products under about 10 brand names, including Danubio, Faixa Azul, and Leco, which it sells to nearly a quarter million wholesale, retail, and food service clients worldwide. Vigor is a subsidiary of Brazilian conglomerate, Grupo Bertin.
