Vocollect harnesses the power of the human voice. A business unit of Intermec, the company designs and installs voice recognition systems that enable factory and warehouse workers to communicate with their databases via headsets and handheld microphones, thereby keeping their eyes and hands free to handle physical tasks. Its systems comprise a suite of software tools (VoiceArtrisan, VoiceConsole, and VoiceApplications, among other products) that integrates with warehouse management systems and the Talkman line of wearable computers. Vocollect also provides consulting, product implementation, training, and support services.
