WAV (pronounced "wave") distributes wireless networking and mobile computing hardware and software to business customers in North America. Products include barcode readers, ruggedized PCs, video surveillance equipment, and wireless antennas among many others. The company also provides installation, maintenance, and technical support services. Through its WAV Logistics unit, the company offers such specialized services for resellers and manufacturers as custom imaging, inventory management, storage, and warehousing. WAV was established in 1990 as POS Information Systems by CEO and owner Norm Dumbroff.
