Our mission is to make a valuable contribution to the global food supply chain by providing safe, high quality protein products to our customers.
What began in 1937 as a small lamb and veal packer anchored in Detroit's Eastern Market has grown into a full-faceted protein company.
80+ years later, we now have more than 700 employees in multiple plants distributing a full range of boxed beef, pork, chicken, and seafood; and producing ground beef items, steak cuts, value-added products, and still to this day, fresh lamb and veal.
We attribute our grow to our valued customers and the employees at Wolverine that make it all work. The keys to our success lie in conservative business principles, integrity, and always placing the customer first.
