When your space capsule crash-lands on Cocoa Beach, at least you know you'll have access to health care. Through its network of hospitals and clinics, Wuesthoff Health System provides a broad range of health services to residents of Brevard County and visitors to Florida's "Space Coast" region. The system is comprised of two hospitals (300-bed Wuesthoff Medical Center-Rockledge and 115-bed Wuesthoff Medical Center-Melbourne) and other facilities that provide diagnostic, behavioral health, assisted living, and primary and specialist care services. The system includes hospice care, community health, and home health programs. Wuesthoff Health System was acquired by Health Management Associates (HMA) in 2010.
