Having thundered onto the Web server software stage, Zeus Technology is now focused on network and application traffic management. Its Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager (ZXTM) lets customers manage Web services with features that accelerate applications and provide a more seamless online experience. It also offers a virtual appliance for network load balancing. The company developed Web server software used by ISPs, content providers, and e-commerce companies to deliver Web page content to Internet users. Zeus counts HP, Dell, and Sun Microsystems among its partners; customers have included BT and Domino's Pizza. Founded in 1995, Zeus was acquired in 2011 by Riverbed Technology.
