Despite its lower-case name, dns provides capital services for the network security of public- and private-sector customers. The company analyzes security needs, identifies vulnerabilities, and designs and builds secure networks. It also provides managed network security support services. dns serves clients financial-services companies, government agencies and municipal councils, legal firms, telecommunications service providers, and utility companies. The company was founded in 1999 by chairman James Macintyre and managing director Graeme Cox, and director Stuart Fraser.
