The environmentally friendly company provides heating services to more than 5 million homes across the UK to reduce carbon emissions, promote energy conservation, and on a larger scale, slow negative climate change. Eaga was established to help low-income and elderly residents warm their homes in a fuel-efficient way. Its Heating and Renewables segment inspects 500,00 home each year. The Carbon Service unit works with big utilities to cut carbon emissions. Eaga's Managed Services unit provides outsourcing contracts, including consultation and re-engineering services. In 2011 the company was acquired by Carillion plc.
