Literal hell on Earth - RUN.

Pros

Good pay Cool perks like "Summer Fridays" If you're willing to sacrifice your dignity and self respect for a decent salary and an early release on Fridays during the summer- then look no further.

Cons

Where to begin.. Leadership is hostile, condescending, unorganized and cliquey - once you're onboarded prepare to be thrown to the wolves. Unless you're a long standing employee - don't expect to be treated with any shred of decency or respect. The management team lacks fundamental organization, project management and prioritization skills - "everything is a priority" which is a direct quote when I inquired as to what the top priorities are. If everything is a priority, then nothing is a priority - but unfortunately, this is the motto the company culture is centered around. Being in such a fast paced industry, interdepartmental collaboration and alignment on initiatives and priorities is key - don't expect anything close to that here. They don't value you as an employee, they're only interested in seeing how much abuse you can tolerate - which they will gaslight you into believing that you're "thick skinned" and can "handle the industry." Comical as Executive Leadership can hardly be considered subject matter experts. A PR company that uses being "bicoastal" as a selling point and key differentiation factor SCREAMS incompetent. Everyone is bicoastal at this point. The behavior of Executive and Senior leadership is disdainful and abusive - imagine mean girls the movie - but as your leaders. I've never encountered such catty and flat out obnoxious people in my entire life - and I've worked for some real pills. During my very short tenure (less than 6 months) more than 10 people departed the company - I followed suit shortly thereafter once I realized there was no chance of anything getting better. I candidly asked a member of Executive leadership about all the negative reviews online during my interview process - "what is your take on all the negative feedback online?" Their answer was that the people who made those claims didn't have "thick skin" and "didn't align with the culture" and are low performers. I should have seen that as a major red flag but alas.. My advice, trust the heinous reviews you see and don't subject yourself to the hostility and flat out abuse here - RUN.

The Absolute Worst Place to Work.

Pros

- Cool brands that are relevant and popular - Hybrid work schedule due to Covid-19

Cons

This is hands down the worst place I've ever worked. The company culture is horrible, the work environment is toxic and uncomfortable and the people are extremely mean, rude and fake. Treating co-workers poorly is normalized, overworking the employees is common practice and little to no positive reinforcement is expected. They throw you in without any training or briefing of the clients you're working for, there aren't enough employees (no wonder since no one wants to work for them) so a lot of the work gets pushed onto people farther down in the hierarchy and there is absolutely NO work life balance. I truly can't say enough bad things about this company so please, for your own sake and sanity, DO NOT work for this company. Instead, find a company that values its employees, that values work life balance, that pays enough and that is actually a well organized company. AZIONE is simply a horrible, horrible place to work.

AZIONE is a Sinking Ship

Pros

*If you're lucky you get some sweet perks depending on your clients (free CorePower Yoga, free beauty + skincare products) *Summer Fridays year-round (I can count on one hand the amount of times I actually finished before 5pm) *Lot's of time off given (the Friday before Memorial and Labor Day weekends + Time off between New Years and Christmas)

Cons

Extremely disorganized company. The leadership has no idea how to run a business and makes grand purchases (an office in the OC or acquiring a company) to put on a face that it is successful. Behind the scenes there are at least two layoffs a year and constant team reshuffling. You are overworked, underpaid, and under valued.
