      Just another startup slinging code for investors

      Pros

      Fully Remote, feels like you're doing meaningful work

      Cons

      The codebase is an over engineered mess. They do say they're trying to fix this, but it seems like they're just making it more complex by adding all sorts of different technologies to the stack when all they really need is a crud app with some horizontal scalability. Their agile practices are not good at all, arbitrarily assigned point values are used to judge your productivity, and if you just have a bad sprint or a card blows up, you're on a Performance Plan.

      Pros

      Great engineering team and talent Getting lead out of drinking water is a very motivating goal Flexible day to day schedule Understanding and compassionate engineering supervisors and team leaders

      Cons

      Lack of PIPs or HR discussions. Over years I witnessed many peers be fired same day with no notice or explanation of why to them or to the remaining staff. If someone has a problem with you then you will NOT know until you're already fired.
