Pros

To be honest its a very interesting products. Good coworkers.

Cons

Overall the lack of any project management and the confusing vagueness behind the product offered leads to a lack of morale within the team. The majority of the developers are new grads or relatively new in their career which led to a ton of tech debt being accrued and not paid back. In addition while the products are interesting there is a lack of how they actually generate revenue and the lack of leadership leads alot to be desired. There was no pm on the projects when I was there and very little guidance on what to actually do and what the end goals were. The CEO seems to ride on the coattails of being a former employee of google alot during the interview process to prop the company up.

Pros

There are a few great people there who do not subscribed to the toxic culture at this workplace.

Cons

- They do not believe in the core values that they have set for their company because they do not uphold them at all. - There is a large disconnect between the departments because the managers are too busy bickering with each our then focusing on moving the company forward. A lot of overseers but no workers. - The product is trash and does not work effectively nor do they have any true desires to fix it but except you to sale like it is the best thing since sliced bread. - Inappropriate behavior between leadership and employees happens too often and the is fear to speak up because you’ll be shunned. - They encourage you to speak up but they really could care less about the feedback that you have.

Pros

Good work life balance, new office is great, and HR has strived to make positive changes to the culture.

Cons

High ranking employees will make false statements to customers with the goal of securing/keeping revenue. Pay is laughably low for employees that joined greater than a year ago. Slight improvements over time, but still well below market. There is a gossipy culture and the leaders ship at the company is very juvenile. I have heard executives bash other execs and heard (through the grapevine) that certain people were going to be forced out by leadership. No clear company direction Trying to compete with analytics companies but has very little analytics expertise. Revenue is largely propped up by companies purchasing 1up to meet regulatory requirements. No good plan to get beyond that. Founder is an egomaniac and as far as I could tell everyone hated working with him. New CEO is an adult, so that’s a big step up. However, the aforementioned problems remain.
