Bad employer

Pros

- Freedom within role - Working from home - Generally nice people - Nice product - International

Cons

- Projects organized badly, therefore many employees are unproductive and it is a very chaotic environment. Although they exists already for 10 years it is still a start-up culture: young, lack of processes, lack of coaching in the workplace, high work pressure - Lack of internal communcation - Management is the worst I've seen. Almost all managers from lower to middle to high management are inexperienced and unprofessional - Owners/founders (CEO and CSO) hold anything and anyone accountable for the chaotic, unprofessional and low quality organization they shaped themselves, besides that both of them and in fact the whole C-level is very incompetent and not able to set a good example by good leadership. Fe the CTO and CCO are not visible in the organization and not managing their teams. - Poor leadership with no vision no strategy and no clear expectations to the employees - Financially unstable business - Unethical behavior of founders/owners (CSO and CEO)

Pros

Good lunch, nice work-life balance, amazing people to work with. Interesting technology stack.

Cons

Low salary. Too much HR in processes. It feels that HR lives in their own, hr-dream world and want everybody to be acting accordingly. Example: filling out a paper for taking a developer course is a 2 pages essay with 6 questions, which later needs to be signed by my manager, the CEO, the CFO and some HR people. Seriously, why so many? The cost of all those 5 people spending the time on reviewing and signing that paper is already bigger then the course price itself. Also, looks like salary negotiations and raises come from HR and are not connected to my manager(who knows my performance) at all. Difficult to recommend to a friend when all international offices work work independently in a way.

Incompetent upper management

Recommend

Business outlook

Pros

There used to be some great people, until they all got fired in one of the many firing rounds - or ran away themselves from the incompetent upper management.

Cons

Incompetent upper management, no communication, they dont trust their own employees, toxic environment where people are being fired all the time and the remaining team is criticized by the CEO (Donald) for not working day and night to cover all the tasks of the people that were fired, on top of their own work. Management is living in their own bubble, completely disconnected
