Pros

Comfortable atmosphere, Talented workforce, Company Growth

Cons

There is no formal on-boarding process. From the first day of work it is a "trial by fire" which is not productive. There is no cross departmental meetings and collaborations for better workflow and company growth. Work area is congested with not privacy or sound barriers which make it sometimes difficult to concentrate on work. Pay is still once a month....

Pros

I've been with this company for a little over four years and nothing changes for the better, things only get worse. They were purchased by SSP and things have gone downhill since. Salaries are way below average and raises are either nonexistant or an insult. People are leaving and finding higher paying jobs elsewhere, and there seems to be a select few individuals who get promoted (mostly due to nepotism or favoritism), regardless of the individual's ability to do the job.

Cons

This is not a good place to work, especially if you want to advance your career or be paid a competitive wage. I have two offers from other organizations and one of them informed me that there are a lot of 3-GIS resumes in their stack. Benefits are meager and we just found out that the prices for basic health insurance are going to increase by $300-$400 monthly.

Pros

1) Work From Home Friendly 2) Non-managerial team members are for the most part accessible and helpful

Cons

1. Pay is the lowest you can get for the type of positions offered. Leaving automatically doubled my salary. 2. Benefits are accrued 10 days of PTO that might get approved. 3. Your title will not reflect your responsibilities. 4. Pay raises are non-existent. 5. Growth opportunities are non-existent. If you ask for one, you’ll be shut down on the spot. 6. There is no respect for your time off, and you are expected to work more than 40 hours a week. Friday night meetings? Love those! 7. If you want to move outside of the bubble you’re reluctantly in, you’ll more than likely have to move companies. 8. Managers hold you to a level they do not hold themselves to. Micromanaging is their best friend.
