      Poor Management and Toxic Culture

      Pros

      Flexible start and end times, average pay, great projects, free Friday lunch and team lunches.

      Cons

      Favouritism, if management doesn't like you, you won't progress and always have issues. Too much backstabbing and people talking to management behind your back. Toxic culture and no support from team lead. They don't adhere to their own policies. High-pressure environment when CS team over-promise to clients, causing stress and burnout.

      Pros

      When I first started at cube the management did everything they could to keep perks up and you could see they were trying. By the time I left perks started being revolked as they struggled with business a bit. I still very much enjoyed my time there but turnover started to tick up.

      As mentioned above, as work dipped, it started getting more strained

      Pros

      The employees were all aligned to wanting to work on tech for good projects which created a good “on the ground” culture

      Cons

      The company was growing too quickly without any proper set up of processes and support for employees. There was also no training offered to new junior members of staff and zero support put in place when concerns were raised. This led to juniors taking on way more than their experience level leading to burnout. Unfortunately there was not a nice feel amongst upper management which created an “us” versus “them” culture.
