• Working hours can be long sometimes but it is typical in consulting
• The Partners are usually very busy or travelling, thus it is not possible to have very regular reviews
• There is variance among the Project Leaders in terms of competences and behaviour. One Project Leader I worked with lacked basic consulting skills (Excel, PowerPoint) so learning opportunities were limited. The way she managed the project was very inefficient and created a lot of friction in the team. Her tone of communication was aggressive and in some cases even abusive.
