Pros

The creative team is full of great people, truly genuine as co-workers, and extremely talented.

Cons

This agency and more importantly its “leaders” have a lot to learn about operating as a business and as a team. The leaders will misrepresent and sell the agency in interviews as a “family dynamic” and “scrappy” which translates to overworked, underpaid, with the occasional quarterly happy hour and Christmas party to make up for the hours worked and lack of leadership. The directors and “leaders” buy into the company, which leads to conflicts of interest across the board from new business to leadership style. Work/life balance does not exist, nor does an in-house HR representative, which should be a red flag to anyone interviewing. Leadership lacks accountability and believes the more you struggle— the better you will learn which is a cop-out for a dysfunctional, chaotic, and inexperienced lack of professionalism from the top down. The lack of diversity is telling. For an agency that has condemned other agencies for lack of diversity, it is extremely hypocritical given this company employs 3-4 POC max. There is zero direction given, and if you are fresh out of college you will be given little to no structure, or guidelines, or resources. Save yourself the headache and interview at another company. Turnover here is rampant especially under the strategy leader (3-4 months.) View their job boards and you will see the same positions posted every 4-6 months. Benefits are not competitive. Healthcare isn’t the best, but it is fine. The company pays a portion monthly. No 401k matches. 2 weeks’ vacation time. Do your research on this company and do not be sold by false promises. This was the most unprofessional work setting I have ever worked in my career.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re learning everyday. As we grow and as opportunity allows, we’re putting more systems and roles in place to help us live up to the ambitions of the entire team. We’re still a young, small business, so we can’t do everything we’d like to do or have every role we’d like to have all at once. But we’re confident we’ll get there with time. That’s part of the beauty of building a young company together. We recognize that being part of that journey isn’t for everyone, so we appreciate the short time you spent with us.

Pros

- The building is conveniently located downtown - Occasional Happy Hour - Hybrid Schedule

Cons

- The partners are one of the biggest problems when it comes to the company. They are very indecisive on how they want operations to run, and are constantly changing policies/practices without notice to employees involved. One of the partners also has a record of being extremely rude to employes. I have personally witnessed said partner, make a female associate cry during the work day in front of employees. - There is no clear intent when it comes to salary increase at annual review. - The culture theme there is kinda vulgar and "Gothy"/Supernatural. The company lacks diversity. - There is a lack of communication when it comes to mistakes being made or problems that occur.
