Pros

Relaxed pace, with an amazing work life balance. Building a product that teaches kids is amazing. The people are amazing. If you have to take a sick day, or tend to your kids, you're good. They treat their staff like the adults we are. Juniors are treated with respect, and brought up. Yes we do hire them. The tech stacks that you're green in are inviting, and people are always helping you learn.

Cons

If you're a senior, there's not much room for career growth. But then you're a senior dev, so the only place to grow is out of dev. While micro-services are all well and good, there's a bit of a mixed bag. Standards are in flux a bit. It's good and bad in ways.
