The owner is a salesman above all else - but there is no steak to go with the sizzle. Very difficult to get consistent and honest responses from him. Have your indicated salary cut because training is apparently included as part of your package - then be told that if you take training you can't resign. Still yet to be paid Super, months later - it is routine for all staff members to log complaints with the ATO, repeatedly. Was Paid on-time twice. Typically 2-6 days late. Other staff were weeks behind. One in particular was owed almost 5 figures months later. Owner out-right lied the first time about paying late, then provided evidence to confirm the lie. Still maintains that a public holiday delayed payment, despite a bank receipt indicating the transfer time. The business is typically fueled by new recruits from outside of Canberra, where his reputation isn't known. Attempt to be bullied to make false Glassdoor reviews to offset the truth of working there. Poorly maintained company vehicles. Have your Security Clearance threatened by the owner. Be played off against senior staff who literally bled to save the company. Be reprimanded for not driving results out of junior team members who can't even buy lunch because they've yet to be paid. Be forced to lie to customers regarding where their pre-paid equipment is that hasn't been purchased because it was buying the owner eye surgery, business class trips to the US and digital SLR's - not even paying owed wages/super. Be forced to lie to vendors why accounts are months overdue. This company is toxic. If you take a job here you will have a great 2-3 weeks as the owner attempts to shield you from his dishonesty, theft (wages and super) and deceit - however as the owner has locked access between the team and his office location, you will find out soon enough. Then your pay will be late. Then your super won't be paid for the quarter. Anywhere is better than here. Beware.
