      Good Learning Environment

      Pros

      - some nice people - the current Operations Director - good environment for learning without consequences - multicultural environment

      Cons

      - CEO (micromanages, exhibits favoritism, lacks transparency, lacks self-awareness in general, his way or the highway mentality) - overemotional and narrow minded people like the person who wrote the review on August 18, 2016 "Decent company" - excessive finger pointing and the blame game - low skill set level in many departments - many people with management titles who probably should not be managers which results in inflated egos - undeserving promotions given if you are a favorite which results in inflated egos - lack of parking for all staff - lack of offices for departments that need one like HR - office space in general is poor - benefits package - low company culture - no defined roles or authority across the company - no flexible work schedule for administrative staff, though this depends on who you work for - unfair rules applied to staff depending on who you work for - HR policies are dated

      Avoid this workplace if you can….

      Pros

      Great good colleagues at the local office Decent pay Decent benefits (bonus etc.) Strong team spirit at local office

      Cons

      A lack of trust from the top down (micromanaging) From the ExCo the communication is one way - this also reflects in the local managers Lack of transparent and open communication Lack of moral leadership The blame is always forwarded - Scapegoating - mistakes are explained by blaming others Emotional intelligence is not well-known in 4finance Non credit is given even when credit is due From Group there is a lack of understanding of the cultural differences which is of vital importance if you want to become a global leader Complaining and whining is most common modes of communication The workload is intense - based on the workload the pay is not much Inexperienced local managers - they might be good within their field but they have very little experience with being managers

      Couldn't be worse

      Pros

      If you are entering a world of consumer lending business this might possibly be the place to learn basics about business models and stuff.

      Cons

      Worst corporate culture ever, if you can think of a 'corporate BS' cliche, this is it 100%. Non-competent people taking positions like "head of something" or "senior something" or "chief something", they are not aware of anything what is going on, nor do they care of anything. In general, it was most unprofessional and incompetent collective I ever met in my life. A cherry on a cake, internal company policy approves and officially encourages employees to watch out for colleagues and anonymously report 'inappropriate' behavior by means of special online tool, that was an official message from the CEO. Big brother is watching you. Avoid this company by all means.
