Not the best experience I've had

Pros

It was amazing to have an internship in NYC, but this staff is often rude.

Cons

They rely on their UNPAID interns to do essentially all the work for them year round, and the only skills I learned I learned from having to fend for myself. I think it's a good first experience because it thickens your skin, but no one should have to do the personal tasks the owner asked of the interns. This was a resume builder, which was one of the only pluses of this experience. If you have any other opportunities, take them

Pros

no pros, do not waste time

Cons

i wasted an entire summer interning at this place. They are unprofessional and extremely unorganized. They do not teach you anything valuable, all you are to them are gophers. They do not properly prepare you with enough experience to further your skillset. They also do not pay which is considered illegal to not pay employees. Do not waste your time with these people. All the owner does is collect old mad magazines that no one ever reads. He does not care.
