Great early career opportunities but issues with nepotism

Pros

flexibility, autonomy, skill exposure, company encourages upskilling, great company early in your career.

Cons

I wouldn’t recommend working here as there is nepotism, and not enough diversity in upper management or upward mobility as promotions are rare. Pay isn’t as competitive with the workload you will put in, common security and technology practices are not taking serious.

Pros

Decent benefits, not much else

Cons

terrible team dynamics, lots of nepotism. horrible scheduling, prepare for lots of 1 day fly in fly out jobs to do multiple days worth of work. no per diem for travel. terrible customers, prepare to work for some of the biggest cheapskates I've ever seen.

Pros

Remote work is about it

Cons

Tl;DR: this company's management is laughably terrible and it will be almost certainly a direct cause of the business's failure. Management doesn't take feedback from their direct reports seriously. They claim to do so but it is all lip service and meaningless. The company's organizational structure is profoundly confusing and it leaves people that have worked there for over a year not even sure who their manager is. The company is much more concerned about performance numbers rather than actual performance quality. Management does not look at problems holistically whatsoever. They simply throw people at a problem until it goes away with no regard to efficiency, documentation, or well-being of their employees. Employees are often blamed for low performance numbers while processes for delivering service to our clients is dramatically ambiguous and constantly changing. Expectations are never clearly communicated. The insurance they provide is some of the most convoluted and poor excuses of a company benefit I have personally ever seen. The insurance they provide had us see a doctor that is on their payroll. The doctor that I was assigned to go to was a hypnotherapist. I say this to say that the company clearly doesn't care about the actual wall function of their benefits just that they can "check the box" on an application.
