• No one experienced in a creative leadership role that can help you. The creative team is run by a team that is fresh out of college - not a bad thing - but there is no leadership to turn to when you have questions or need opinions about design questions.
• Owner of company sees creatives as disposable. If one leaves, who cares, easy to replace. And I don't like that. I like to work where I and my creative work feel valued.
• High turn over. Myself included quit along with 8 others (!) in a span of around 3 months.
• Low pay for a lot of work. I understand it is a small company and they can't pay an insane amount, but the amount of work and quality of work we were doing should have raised that.
• Sales team basically runs the company. Favoritism.
• No way to move up or be promoted in creative field. Pretty stagnant.
