I noticed that management made a desperate attempt to divert readers away from the negative comments on here. It's pretty obvious that the reviews came from the owner not actual employees. They mention that this job is not for you in you aren't performance oriented or driven by competition. I was told on a daily basis that I was doing a great job and would go far in the business, so performance was definitely not the reason I left. I left because I simply could not stomach lying to innocent business owners on a daily basis just so that I could make a sale. The boss will literally tell you to say anything you can to get businesses to sign up for Verizon services. Integrity and ethics are not in practice at this company. Yes, you do get a chance to have a shadow day but they make sure that whoever takes you out on the interview will already have a sale set up so that it appears simple to make a sale and make good money. What they won't tell you is that there is no guarantee of you actually getting paid for that sale, that this job is 100% commissioned and there is no base salary, no benefits, and no mileage reimbursement. Take note of how many miles away VA beach is when you go out for your interview and imagine doing that every single day without compensation. It is a joke and it's no wonder management is making a desperate attempt to highlight the "pros" of this business-which is really just "you have a chance to make a ton of money if you completely sell yourself out."
